Meet Danielle
Hi, I’m Danielle. I am a woman of faith, a devoted wife to my husband Franco and a loving mother to our 2 children Giuseppe and Alyssa; oh and our Goldendoodle Lucky.
I’m extremely inspired by words and the positive effect they can have on your life! I love to read the bible (mine has been highlighted, underlined and written in). Renewing my soul keeps me sane and clears my head♥ Books in general are a getaway for me, especially when I need 15 minutes of me time. I am also moved by music… listening to just the right song at a given moment, can be magical.
“Not to live for the day, that would be materialistic — but to treasure the day. I realize that most of us live on the skin — on the surface — without appreciating just how wonderful it is simply to be alive at all.”– Audrey Hepburn
My life isn’t fancy and neither are my clothes… most of the time you’ll find me in lounge pants and a cami. It’s not that I don’t care about my appearance or lack self respect, but there are so many more important things in my life that matter more to me then what I wear; and before you question it, I am always clean. Since I became “disabled” –L5-S1 lower back and leg debilitating nerve pain, conjoined nerve roots, degenerative disc, arthritis, leg weakness and a linear tear– I have learned so much about myself, about life and about the person I want to become. I’ve learned to slow down, enjoy the day as it comes, and see the beauty life has to offer…. I truly believe God has blessed me with my back problem, and I am learning how to live each moment of each day.
And just like a flick of a switch — A story about my disability and how it changed my life

Beautiful family! I love your outlook and how you turned a negative into a positive. Experiences are so much more important than things, aren’t they?

You are very kind Karen… thank you. Absolutely agree with you, experiences are so much more important! Some days are harder than others to have a positive outlook but in the end it’s always better when I do 🙂
